9. Translation of colophon In this way, with the seal without objectification, the short appeasement offering for the destruction of thousands of demons is over. As I, Pung bon mgo dmar, after making offerings of thirteen treasures to the teacher sTag la me ’bar, in the innermost part of ’Ol mo lung ring, and after udergoing great difficulties in order to obtain this teaching, I made a prayer and gave it to Dran pa nam mkha’ himself. I, Khod spungs Dran pa nam mkha’, I hid it at the top of a rocky cliff in the shape of a lion at the foot of Mt rMa gnyan pom ra.

15. Illustrations and decorations The first two pages of this manuscript are beautifully ornamented.The title folio possesses an elaborate double frame traced with double red lines and painted yellow, green, and red. Rectangular in shape and yellow in colour, the first frame extends to the sides into two side compartments. Rhomboid and green, the second frame has the same height and width as the first one. Where both frames intersect with each other, either the first one is painted red instead of yellow, or one of the frames is doubled with red bands.

On the next two folios, the rubricated text is included in a yellow rectangular frame, which is doubled with red columns on the sides.
