Prostrations to both the uncle and nephew, the masters of gYung drung Bon doctrine, who are the protectors of monks, disciples and benefactors, both men and women with compassion within the temporal and spiritual traditions.
Oh! offer praises to you with deep faith, the master Drung pa Nam mkha’ rnam rgyal, who are born in the eminent Cung (= Khyung?) lineage , who are ornamented by the jewels of fine quality that are your three perfect disciples, who have the qualities of pure ethics just as an excellent vase is full of water, who written published this dhāraṇī mantra of complete victory Buddha with his deep faith, all these works are for the development of the gYung drung Bon doctrine, accumulate merit to repay the kindness of parents, and for all beings to obtain enlightenment. Praise to you, the nephew (or grandson? tsha bo) Drang srong gTso mchog, who has extraordinary wisdom. Praise to the younger brother bSod nam ’bar, the benefactor, who possesses the qualities of bravery, honesty and integrity. The grandchildren (or nephews? tsha bo) rNam rgyal ’bum and rNam rgyal skyabs have wisdom that is as broad as the sky, and minds as bright as the moon. And rNam rgyal dpal bzang who become a monk, Nam mkha’… who is like a god coming to the world: praise to these grandchildren, like tiger-brothers: may they have long lives free of illness, and may they live up to the standards of their ancestors. May the great-grandsons (or grandsons? rnag tsha) bSam ’grub and dKon mchog lha dbang, and other relatives, all be prosperous and full of happiness. May the daughters-in-law, dBang phyug srid mtsho and Nam mkha’ dpal ’dren, their children, their livestock and their wealth prosper. Pray the ladies who are like sisters (? lcam mo sring ’dra) have long and healthy lives. Pray that the two little granddaughters with “gYung drung” in their name become as beautiful as flowers in a garden. Blessings.
