9. Translation of colophon | The scribe is g.Yung drung rig ‘dzin (?) from the place called lHa ra sde (?)……the lord of the place Monthang…… May it in the future benefit all living beings; may the doctrine of gYung drung Bon flourish and propser. Good fortune, good fortune, good fortune. |
10. Remarks | The first half of the text belongs to the Bon ritual of general fumigation, and the second half to the ransom rite (glud chung) featuring Padmasambhava (v070_IMG_ 2490_2492). The colophon seems to contain features of the local dialect. |
