15. Illustrations and decorations | The title folio of this manuscript is ornamented with a tripartite frame traced with double red lines and patterned with decorative motifs. Wide vegetal scrollwork subtly drawn with red ink fill the upper and lower bands of the middle section of that frame, while similar yet narrower designs and some sorts of meanders fill its left and right sections, respectively. Simple vertical bands further separate the three sections from each other and border the lateral ones. |
