9. Translation of colophon

In this way, offerings of holy relics and blood, sprikle blood, and cause poisoned blood and weapons to fall upon the lingga like rain. Infuse them into the effigy, and drive stakes into the lingga. Throw ‘falcon darts’ in the direction of the enemy. Cast tormas to incite the dbal mo divinities to perform their deeds. This should be performed at the four times of day (? zer) and at noon and midnight. Once you have done this, after seven days or nine days or after twenty-one or twenty-nine days, the siges will manifest. The concentrated essence of the assembled ma mo goddesses; the wrathful rite (brnag pa) of the secret mind, the little nails of the mind of the queen – the secret tantric propitiation of Sri pa’i rgyal mo is over. Secrecy. Good fortune. Blessings.
