The dedication prayer is thus sealed. In this way, Kun grol grags pa (1700-1761) wrote this text based on the “Precious Flowing Ritual of Burnt Offering”. This copy was made at the insistence of certain monk disciples. May the act of writing it out be of benefit to all beings, and may all be auspicious! The transmission of this ritual practice tradition was: from the pure Dharma realm sky, by the great master Dran pa Nam mkha’, through the path of light, the oral transmission was given to Kun grol grags pa, then by him to rGyal ba dbang grags. It was given by him to Nyag sgom Phun tshogs bstan ‘dzin, from whom it was passed successively to rJe btsun Rad na gtsug phud, Shes ston rGyal ba tshul khrims g.yung drung, Drang srong gYung drung bstan ‘dzin, bsTan pa rgyal mtshan, gYung drung ‘od zer, and then my root lama, who then passed it on to me. May the benefits to all beings spread. Virtue. It was written very hastily. How rough is the paper, how thin is the ink, how unsteady is my hand! This text, with its roughness, its thinness and its unsteadiness, was written by me, Nyi ‘od. |
